ACA Membership

Pete Rowe accepted to The ACA

Founding partner of Bulldog Creatrix, Pete Rowe, has been accepted as a member of the Australian Cartoonists Association (ACA).

The ACA is the oldest association of professional cartoonists in the world, having been established in 1924.  It's members include some of the most respected and highly regarded cartoonists, illustrators and animators in the country.

"It was an absolute honour to be asked to join the Australian Cartoonists Association.", Pete Rowe said, "Those of us working in the creative commercial world are increasingly engulfed in the frantically changing aspects of digital design, much of which can sometimes stifle or restrict the raw creative talent that launched most of us into our careers.  I consider cartooning and illustration to be the expression of that pure talent - embodying the uniqueness and individuality of the artist.", Pete added.

"I know, that when I am commissioned to create a cartoon or illustration, it cannot ever be replicated by anyone else.  It is unique to me and my client.  There is no software that can ever replace the pure talent of an artisan.  I like that!".

The Australian Cartoonists Association has members from all over Australia and is a resource for professionals to discuss trends, techniques and commercial values amongst very many other things.
